North Shore Guide to Winter Ice Skating

By North Shore Macaroni Kid December 30, 2023

DID YOU KNOW? An hour of ice skating burns about as many calories as jogging but is lower impact and way more fun. Whether you're looking for a fun family outing or a romantic date night, ice skating is a great winter activity and a memorable holiday tradition.

Following is a list of ice rinks, both indoor and outdoor, that we've found on Massachusetts North Shore. Outdoor rinks can have a pretty short skating season, so be sure to visit the website to confirm dates and hours.

PLEASE NOTE: Open/closing dates and hours are subject to change due to weather and/or management's discretion. We encourage you to call each location before heading over to ensure that the rink is open.
