Junior golf schools for boys and girls at Newbury Golf Center are a structured fun learning environment with small groups. Each of our schools will not exceed 10 children and will be taught by PGA professionals. During the school children will be taught the fundamentals of the golf swing, all aspects of the short game, and putting. They will also learn the rules of golf and etiquette of the game. This program was designed by our founder Erik Sorensen while working at Myopia Hunt Club in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. Erik and his junior program were recognized by US Kids golf as a Top 50 junior instructor and program in the United States.
