While a posed family photo is nice, I love capturing the natural moments between you and your loved ones. Every year, around Father's Day, I dig out a photo of my Dad carrying me as an infant in a baby backpack. It was a casual moment on the Cape, he headed out to the beach with me on his back. It's one of my favorite photos from my childhood. Needless to say, I am a firm believer in parents getting in the photos with their children- no matter what ages! You may think your hair isn't quite right, or you want to lose a few pounds before taking photos, or that the photos should be all about the kids. The time is now- looking back on these images, your children will feel your love for them- and isn't that what counts?
