- Mother’s Day Free Admission, Stone Zoo & Franklin Park Zoo, May 14th: Join us on Mother’s Day to celebrate mom at both Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo! On May 14th, Zoo New England is offering free admission for all mothers throughout the day. Bring Mom and the entire family to discover the incredible animals that call the Zoo home. Be sure to look for all the animal moms. At Franklin Park Zoo, say hello to moms like Kiki, the western lowland gorilla, and Amari, the Masai giraffe. At Stone Zoo, be sure to stop by the Linne’s two-toed sloth habitat to say hi to mom Lunesta, and the baby that was born in March!
- Virtual Mother’s Day Brunch, Virtual, May 14th: Rise and dine alongside our gorilla troop this Mother's Day. Treat mom to a virtual brunch where you can observe a training session up close and learn more about the gorillas that call Franklin Park Zoo home. Attendees will be provided with a recipe to prepare a healthy Mother’s Day meal, similar to the gorillas. Pre-registration is required.
- A Wild Affair, Stone Zoo, June 24th: Get your appetite ready for the return of A Wild Affair! For the first time since 2019, the beloved 21+ event returns to the grounds of Stone Zoo to celebrate the natural world with an evening of delicious food and drinks. The evening will feature a variety of live entertainment, including a local band and DJ, animal encounters, and more. Whether you're a foodie, an animal lover, or both, this is an experience you won't want to miss! Proceeds from A Wild Affair support the operation and continued growth of Stone Zoo, its education programs and conservation initiatives.
